The Snake Kings at the Crown Inn, Addingham
Last year Dave and fellow lunatic Les Staves smiled through the worst that the Addingham Moorside weather could throw at them, and  together with the marquees, tea and muffins, and true British grit, turned a day that you might wish to forget into a day to remember.

This time the weather will be kind  (Liz says so!) and  Dave is joined by his group the Snake Kings for what will be a fantastic afternoon's entertainment.

Dave has been singing the blues for over 40 years and it shows, not only in the grey hair, but in the quality of his voice and his obvious love for the music.    Click here to listen to Dave's music
Dave and the Snake Kings are regular performers at the Swan Inn in Addingham.

The Snake Kings are:-

Dave - guitar and vocals
Clivo - bass guitar and vocals
Johnny - lead guitar
Paul - drums

Many of the acts who perform at the Elm Gallery are regulars at the Addingham Acoustics Open Mic  performance evenings and you can catch them every Tuesday at the Addingham Social Club.

Bullfrog Jones

We first heard Bullfrog Jones at last years Flood Victims Concert in the Memorial Hall, Addingham, when they played under the name "Down in the Flood" and we were bowled over by the energy and presence of the band.  They were tremendous that night, and we can't wait to hear them perform up on the moorside.

  Sunday 11th May '08
from 2pm
Kwame D

Making their first appearance at the Elm Gallery, Kwame D's music is a rich mixture of reggae, R&B and World Music.

Kwame Yempew (originally from (Ghana) features on guitar and vocals,
with Jeff Willacy on a wide range of percussion instruments from around the world.

Listen to the music of Kwame D by visiting their website www.kwamedcom, or hear them on Myspace.

Better still, come to the Elm Gallery on the 11th May and enjoy the real thing!

Again, we hope for a sunny day but, in the extremely unlikely event of inclement weather (pause for laughter),  we have a collection of waterproof marquees which will guarantee that the show will go on, whatever the conditions.

Hot drinks and muffins are provided as usual, but please feel free to bring a bottle if you wish.

  Fischer's Ghost   Sunday 8th June '08
from 2pm

Last summer Fischer's Ghost, in the form of singer/songwriting duo Dot Jarvis and Ged Keenan,  were a great hit when they appeared at the Elm Gallery.  Now they're  back, with three new members of the band and a great sound.
Fischer's Ghost's music is a mixture of Folk, Rock and Pop.  They perform some of their own songs but with many classic pieces from the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Eva Cassidy, Nora Jones, and many others.
Dot and Ged - live at the Elm Gallery last year
Both Dot and Ged are talented songwriters in their own right.  Among Ged's achievements is that he was a  semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest, backed by the Brit Awards, for two years in succession.
